ABOUT THE THERAPIST

Amanda supports GP referrals from Glasgow health centres

as well as private clients. She has been involved in a number

of pioneering projects including Gartnavel Hospital’s

complementary health team, working with cancer patients.

Amanda has recently been involved in the formative stages of

a local charity, improving the palliative care of those suffering

very serious illness.

 

A former Childline Counsellor, Amanda has spent many

years working with young people and is presently involved

with a national children’s charity. 

 

Amanda is qualified to degree level and before embarking on

hypnotherapy training she studied counselling skills. She also

held professional positions in higher education, business and

the voluntary sector, both at home and abroad.

 

She studied hypnotherapy with the London College of

Clinical Hypnosis and is an Associate Member of the British

Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH). The BSCH requires that

its members are professionally trained and skilled therapists

and adhere to a strict code of ethics and practice. You can read

Amanda works with clients in a safe and friendly environment,

developing approaches to enable each individual to access

their own inner resources and bring balance and control into

their lives.
